Closed: Impact caused by Onchan Commissioners

Kenyon's Café closed notice

Onchan District Commissioners resolution to dispose of the property we currently reside.

Our licence to operate from 46 Main Road, Onchan expired on 17th November 2017 and our landlord, ONCHAN DISTRICT COMMISSIONERS, resolved to sell the premise. This means our licence to operate sessions for the young people of Onchan within this premise has not been renewed.

To young people: Kenyon’s Café has been a ‘home-away-from-home’ for young people since 2002 – a place for you to ‘hang out’ and a place for you to seek advice & support. This building has witnessed many laughs, tears, ‘Snap-chats’ but most importantly we have worked together to overcome the many challenges you face in todays’ world. If you require advice and support about any topic please visit youth.im which has a list of support agencies for young people.

We can only hope a suitable solution can be found in the near future to provide you with a new ‘home-away-from-home’. Please stay safe in the interim. Best regards, Kenyon’s Café
